Corpus Christi will be hosting the 12th Annual Holiday Hilltop 5K Run / Walk and ½ Mile Fun Run / Walk on Saturday, December 9th , at 9:00 a.m. This year’s beneficiary is Colsen Davinroy.
About Colsen…
Kaylsa and Josh Davinroy welcomed their sweet baby boy, Colsen, in August 2022 and just 3 short months later were faced with Colsen’s cancer diagnosis. Colsen is a 1-year-old baby boy who was diagnosed with infantile B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, and CNS disease in December 2022 at 3 months old. He began chemotherapy treatment and during his second round he relapsed both systematically and in his central nervous system. They moved their journey to Children’s Hospital where he underwent CAR-T transplant. This transplant successfully killed his cancer cells until they mutated, causing him to relapse a second time. Colsen is the happiest little fighter who doesn’t even know he’s sick! All his nurses and doctors love him so much and he can make anyone smile. They recently changed plans to be a part of a clinical trial at Children’s Hospital where they hope to get him into remission and do a stem cell transplant. Infantile Leukemia is considered to be very aggressive and also very rare, making it difficult to treat. Their plans can change at any moment. Colsen will always need scans and follow-up even once we get him cancer free.
About the race…
As always our 5K will have live bands playing Christmas music along the route.
Why are we doing this…
All proceeds from the event will assist the Davinroy family with Colsen’s past and future medical expenses

- Purchase raffle tickets. We will be selling these both on the day of the race and following the Corpus Christi Masses.
- Sign up for either the 5K run/walk or the 1/2 Mile fun run/walk
5K participants
- $30.00 if completed online/postmarked on or before November 20, 2023
- $35.00 if completed online or postmarked after November 20, 2023 or on race day
1/2 Mile Participants
- $20.00 if completed online or postmarked before November 20, 2023
- $25.00 if completed online/postmarked after November 20, 2023 or on race day
- Trophies to top 3 overall male and female finishers.
- Medals to top 3 men and women in each age group: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Cancellation notice due to inclement weather will be posted to this website by 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9th

- Long sleeve T-shirts will be provided to all participants registered on or before November 20, 2023
- Participants registered after November 20, 2023 will receive shirts on a first-come, first served basis
